Judges
comments;
Great class
to judge and lots of discussion. 5 excellent Gold's with the top
Gold encompassing all. Main problems were dilute fruit flavour
plus ferment problems.
Nola joined
us at the luncheon at Stones of the Yarra Valley Vineyard in St.
Huberts Road where we had a most enjoyable meal with past award
winning wines from past shows.
Bob
presented our trophies to owner, Graham Van Der Meulen and
winemaker Dylan McMahon. Bob asked Graham if they would like to
come to a dinner next year and present the trophies again with
our Members attending , also could we purchase 12 bottles of the
winning wine when it is released in 2010. All was agreed on.
In all,
another very successful Yarra Valley Wine Show.
